National Board of Examinations is an organisation established by the Government of India in 1975 under the Ministry of Health. It mainly conducts the post graduate examinations of high standards in the field of modern medicines at national level. With this, it tries to improve the standard of medical education in country. More than 150 medical colleges in India are recognised by National Board of Examinations. Diplomat of National Board is the nomenclature of the degree which are awarded by the National Board of Examinations. Its head office is at New Delhi.
National Board of Examinations invites applications for the post of Deputy Director. Citizens of India can only apply before 20th February 2012 by sending an application form along with attested copies of testimonials to the address of Deputy Director [ Administration ], National Board of Examinations, Medical Enclave, Mahatma Gandhi Marg [ Ring Road ], Ansari Nagar, New Delhi. The position is on contract basis.
Post of Deputy Director [ Medical ] is vacant for Schedule cast candidates only. this post is under the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100/- along with grade pay of Rs.6600/- and NPA extra. Candidates applying for this post should not be more than 35 years and should posses post graduate medical qualifications mentioned in the schedule VI of the MCI Act. Candidates should also posses minimum 3 years of experience after post graduation as tutor/ demonstrator/ lecturer/ registrar/ research officer/ senior resident in any medical institution.
