Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology or C-MET was formed by the Government of India under the Ministry of Information technology. It is a scientific society for making high technologies in electronic materials for present and future industrial requirements. It has 3 laboratories situated at Hyderabad, Pune and Thrissur. It is involved in Research and Development [ R&D ] activities in various specialized areas. Its administrative head quarter is at Pune.
C-MET invites applications for various posts. Candidates who posses the citizenship of India can apply and can come for an interview on 4th January 2012 at 10.00 AM at Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology, Panchawati, Off Pashan Road, Pune-411008. Candidates has to bring application form in a prescribed format along with original documents.
1 post is for Senior Research Fellow with Rs. 21600/- per month as consolidated salary. For this post, candidates should posses 1st class degree of M.Sc in Physics/ Chemistry and also should have qualified NET/ GATE/ SET examinations. 2-3 years of R&D experience is also required. Candidates age should be below 32 years.
1 is for Junior Research Fellow with consolidated salary of Rs.14400/- per month. Candidates should be less than 28 years of age and should have scored minimum 55% marks in M.Sc Physics/ Chemistry and also should have qualified NET/ GATE/ SET examinations with at least 1-2 years of R&D experience.
1 vacancy is for Project Staff-II with salary of Rs.9000/- per month. Candidates interested in this post should be graduate in Science stream in the discipline of Physics/ Chemistry along with 1-2 years of R&D experience and also maximum age should be 28 years.
