Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), Chandigarh was founded in 1969 and conducts standardized examinations in addition to conducting administration of scholarships, and publishing of textbooks and headquartered in Mohali, near Chandigarh and conducts secondary examinations. Some students have missed the chance to go for the exam and some got low/unsatisfied marks in their examination. So, PSEB conducted Class 10th Compartment/Supplementary Exam 2013 for these types of candidates so that they may get another chance for the re-selection. Board conducts Supplementary School Examination on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.
