The government of Gujarat’s Directorate of Employment & Training, is an organisation with an ISO 9001:2000 certification and imparts employment and training facilities to a vast number of youth looking for career options in the state. It provides employment services through a network of 41 employment exchanges Employment Exchanges/ Offices. The youth who are looking for career options in central government establishments, state government establishments and various public sector undertakings of the state and central govt. need to register their names in the employment exchanges at the various districts such as Mehsana, Nadiad, Palanpur Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Gandhinagar, Godhra, Ahwa-Dangs, Valsad, Bharuch, Himmatnagar, Amreli. For the youth with higher qualifications, the govt. has set up placement cells and university employment information centres.
