Indian Institute of Foreign Trade or IIFT was established in 1963 by the Government of India under the Department of Commerce as an autonomous organisation for education and research in the field of foreign trade management. It is located at Delhi and Kolkata. It is a deemed university which conduct entrance examinations all over the India. It is regarded as a premiere institution for education, training and research programmes in the area of international business.
Applications are invited by IIFT for various positions for its Delhi campus. Only Indian Citizens with the required qualifications and maximum 56 years of age can apply and that too latest by 31st January 2012 by sending an application.
1 post is for Senior Finance Officer and 1 post is for Finance Officer. Both these posts are under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- along with grade pay of Rs.7600/- and 6600/- respectively. Degree of B.Com with at least 50% marks is required. But beside this, candidates applying for the post of Senior Finance Officer should be a ICWA along with minimum 12 years of experience in the field of commercial accounts in any reputed organisation. While for the post of Finance Officer, candidates should posses minimum 10 years of experience. Also knowledge of Government of India rules/ commercial accounts/ income tax is very essential for both the posts.
Chartered Accountants with 2 years of experience can also apply.
