University of Burdwan or Burdwan University was established on 15th June 1960 by the Government of West Bengal. It is located at Bardhaman of West Bengal and is affiliated to UGC. Around 130 colleges and institutes are affiliated by Burdwan University. It offers higher education and provide degree of under graduation and post graduation in various departments.
